Pino' Nero DOC Gran Cru

Two Glasses Gambero Rosso - Italian Wines 2012 Guide!
Wine made from grapes carefully selected from vineyards Giorgi. The yield per hectare is scrupulously kept low, often less than 40 hl. of wine per hectare, and the resulting wine has structure, complexity and purity very rare. The success of our wine has reached great heights, becoming a classic Oltrepò, all this had Gianfranco Giorgi winemaker who has spent a long time in testing on the assembly of the various dell'Oltrepo Pavese Pinot Nero. GRAPES: 100% Pinot Nero. TASTING NOTES: Pale straw color, at nose intense, delicate, clean, fruity cadences of apple and peach; at taste elegant, harmonious, good structure and long finish.
PAIRINGS: Starters, risotto, fish with delicate sauces. Proposed sparkling.

Sangue Di Giuda DOC

Two Glasses Gambero Rosso - Italian Wines 2011 Guide!
Sangue Di Giuda is certainly one of the most distinctive Oltrepò Pavese wines. Production is limited in the municipalities of Canneto Pavese, Broni and Castana. The soils are predominantly sandy, calcareous, sometimes very steep with excellent exposure to the south.
GRAPES: 40% Barbera, 40% Croatina, Uva Rara, Vespolina, Pinot Nero 20%
TASTING NOTES: Ruby red with strong purple spears. At the nose is intense, fragrant, winey and fruity. The taste is pleasantly sweet, caressing and lingering.
PAIRINGS: Sweets such as cakes, pastries, etc. ...

Barbera DOC

Produced with selected grapes from their vineyards in the towns of Stradella and Canneto Pavese, located in areas with a high calling for the Barbera grape. The yield per plant is lower than normal, the grapes are harvested at the precise moment of ripeness, crushed and fermentzione are controlled. It is aged in bottle for 6 months.
GRAPES: 100% Barbera
TASTING NOTES: Ruby red. Intense flavor, with pleasant fruity if tasted young, more compounds and advanced if aged. Dry taste, structured, slightly acid. Good persistence.
PAIRINGS: Goes well with boiled meats.

Bonarda DOC

The Oltrepò land is suitable for the production of Bonarda. Aware of this reality, the Giorgi brothers have identified excellent locations in the municipalities of Canneto Pavese, Stradella and Montù Beccaria, in addition to old and traditional, in monoculture of Croatina to produce the Bonarda O.P. A wine, if drunk young, yet lively, slightly sweet and with good structure. A fine quality and elegant.
GRAPES: 100% Croatina
TASTING NOTES: Deep ruby color with violet and purple nuances. The nose is intense, clean, fruity with clear cadences of cherry and almond. Dry, full bodied, mellow. Good persistence.
PAIRINGS: Goes well with meats, pasta with meat sauce, stews and casseroles.
