What about the history of Baratti & Milano?

Back to 1858, two pastry chefs from Piedmont, Ferdinando Baratti and Edoardo Milano, opened in Turin a lab for the production of confetti (sugared almonds) and pastries. Thanks to their great success, in 1875 they decided to move to the city centre in the newly opened Galleria Subalpina, that became one of the main exclusive meeting points of the time.

Baratti & Milano produces a wide choice of chocolate and candies. After more than a century and a half from its start, the company philosophy is still committed to the original one, based on tradition and quality. Even now Baratti & Milano remains synonym of excellent products with an elegant packaging and an unmistakable quality

What’s your strenght?

Our brand’s the synonym of the prestige achieved in our 160-year-old history. Every single product is produced by our society using only high quality ingredients with no added vegetable fats, except for those that are naturally present in cocoa, hazelnuts and almonds. The whole production chain, starting from the selection of cocoa beans in their countries of origin, up to the production, is carefully controlled. The result? Our products are present only in the best shops in Italy and worldwide.
