How is your coffee produced?

The coffee by Ionia is subjected to a careful and specific processing procedure, from even and accurate roasting, to rapid cooling by air suction.

The exclusive and specific blend of the various qualities and the homogeneous and specific grinding are the final stages that enhance a coffee of great qualitative qualities; the vacuum packaging and the aroma seal valve, finally, capture the freshness and preserve the aroma.

When was the company founded?

The passion for selected and fine coffees was born in 1960 when Commendatore Giovanni Raciti decided to combine the best coffees with his love for Sicily: since then our traditional Sicilian espresso is characterized by blends with a strong body and an enveloping aroma, which express all the warmth and intensity of the volcanic earth in which we, as Ionia, are born.

How does love for your land express itself in Ionia coffee?

Espresso Sicilian coffee is the essence of a land of contrasts; it is strong and delicate, robust and aromatic; the perfect break for every moment of the day; capable of boosting energy, but also well-being.
