What is the specialty of your bakery?

Founded by Mrs Rosalia in 1995, Panificio Cherchi is an artisan company. We are specialised in producing and trading Pergamena di Pane (Bread Parchment), our variant of carasau bread, typical of the Sardinian tradition. Our twenty-year-old experience enables us to guarantee high quality products while preserving flavours and traditions of Sardinia.

What are your strong points?

Authenticity, the good taste of our products, the choice of high quality raw materials and an advanced laboratory which fully complies to food regulations in order to grant all the processes, food security and product standards. As a matter of fact today Cherchi is IFS Food certified.

How many types of Pergamena di Pane have you produced?

Pergamena di Pane, our variant of carasau bread, is available both in the classic and in the Guttiau versions. The Guttiau version includes olive oil added during the preparation. For real gluttons we suggest the Pergamena di Pane Guttiau in a variety of flavours: rosemary, oregano, onion, truffle, and also an original version for particular dish presentations: our Black Pergamena di Pane, with the addition of vegetable carbon. The company's real treat is the snack version: single serving portion in a funny packaging to take everywhere!
