When did Medusa history begin?

Our history started in 1861, close to the Venetian lagoon, with the project of the founder Cesare Regnoli and his determination to work and preserve the natural fish resource of the territory: the eel.

Tradition is very important for us, always glancing at innovation though. While constantly exploring new solutions to satisfy our consumers' needs, an important commitment has been undertaken: to focus on fresh fish gastronomy of premium range.

Your fish offer is wide and refined. What are the most special dishes?

Under the brand Medusa, Regnoli can confirm innovative products such as the seafood and octopus salads, re-interpret classic dishes like anchovy and mackerel fillets, offer new varieties in line with the most sophisticated requests of the market, like fritto misto (Italian variety of fried fish), fried whitebait and fish skewers au gratin.

The product taste and the customers' positive feedback reward the high quality raw materials used and carefully selected in their origin and size, with the aim of granting our consumers a finished and ready to serve product.

What is the strong point of your dishes?

Freshness is at the base of all our recipes. A mix of excellent raw materials, processed and ready to be eaten, where every ingredient is processed individually using the most advanced technologies in order to guarantee high quality standards and to enhance the taste and fragrance of every single element.

We have reached important objectives thanks to our constant focus on selecting quality raw materials, obtained using environmentally friendly fishing systems, thanks to our experience in transformation, which protects the value of noble raw materials, and, finally, thanks to our fresh recipes that are the result of cutting edge production technologies and strong commitment to R&D.
