Does your story start in the 1800s?

Yes, our Maccari winery was founded in 1898 and has since handed down the care and passion in making wine from generation to generation. The historical site is in Visnà di Vazzola (TV), immersed in the vineyards from which are produced wines in barrel and bottled typical of the DOC PIAVE, land of fine red wines and native Raboso wine.

In addition to still wines, do you also make sparkling wines?

In Conegliano, where our company dedicated to this category is located, Maccari Spumanti, we produce sparkling and sparkling wines with the Charmat method. We are right in the heart of DOCG Conegliano-Valdobbiadene and in fact we produce Prosecco Superiore DOCG in addition to DOC Treviso.

How did you expand in the last century?

In the seventies we crossed the regional borders because the demand for typical Veneto wines was always increasing. Today we are a leader in the national market and at the forefront in the distribution of divine barrels, a type of packaging of which we were pioneers already at the end of the eighties. Our strength lies in the quality of the proposed product, supported by a constantly well-stocked warehouse and by knowing how to interpret and anticipate the trends in catering and more accustomed consumer tastes.
