When was Menhir Salento founded?

The story of Menhir Salento began in 2005, thanks to the ambitious project by Gaetano and Vito Marangelli, in Minervino di Lecce, a small village between Maglie and the eastern edge of the Terra d'Otranto: a magnificent area, between ancient farms, dolmens, hypogeal oil mills: an intact, fertile habitat, where agriculture, oenology and gastronomy create a natural and exceptional synergy.

Which wines do you produce?

We produce wines respecting the authenticity of the native vines: Primitivo, Negroamaro, Susumaniello, Aleatico, Fiano, Malvasia, Verdeca. These varieties, all different, but singularly intense, recall the fragrance of our Mediterranean identity and intriguing notes of the Orient.

What are the strengths of your wines?

We have bet on both the content and the presentation of our bottles!

The wines, thanks to the excellent work of our winemaker Marco Mascellani, are warm, structured and fully express the Salento with its warm and sunny territory. Exported and appreciated in 40 countries around the world, they are wines that are drunk with pleasure and joy.

We have also tried to give our wines an innovative, fresh and essential graphic look, but at the same time classy and unique, which catch the eye of the customer at first sight!
