Crispy, tasty, fresh octopus…a real Mediterranean style recipe!

The octopus used to prepare Medusa recipes comes from a careful selection of origins and suppliers and following very strict quality controls. The raw material is in fact only purchased when frozen directly on board, and has to guarantee the necessary standards for a production process that time and experience have honed. The cooking temperatures are constantly monitored in order to get a crispy but not chewy texture as a result.

Octopus bites are prepared with the “Freschissima” method, which prevents acetosity, while the olive slices add typical flavour to a 100% Mediterranean recipe.

Medusa octopus carpaccio is obtained by using a technology that can cut thin slices without pressing them, thus leaving the natural shape of the raw material unaltered. The “Freschissima” recipe adds fragrance and taste to a noble raw material, gently enhanced by a garnish of herbs and Mediterranean spices. Great to taste as it is or easily paired with fresh and tasty dishes.
