The Gaglioppo vine, native of Calabria, in the Cirò area seems to have found its ideal microclimate to give life to a great wine.
Ronco dei Quattroventi interprets the characteristics of Gaglioppo in a marvellous way. Each production step is carried out with care, from the harvest, strictly manual, up to the aging for 12-14 months in French oak barriques. A wine that stands out from the whole range, among the best of the denomination and which is awarded prizes every year.
Deep ruby red in colour, with hints of orange. It presents elegant, intense and persistent aromas with hints of berries and a wood tone of great personality. It is savoury and balanced, with well-blended tannins, with hints of raspberry, vanilla and toasted almonds.
It goes well with red meats, game and aged cheeses.
