Wine Puglia (ITALY)
Pietra is a full-bodied and round wine that comes from the union of two grapes: primitivo and sussumaniello.
The latter is an ancient and typical grape of this region. The name is certainly curious: this plant is loaded with bunches almost like a "somarello" (little donkey).
Practically used in combination with other grapes, Menhir rediscovers it in purity with its 100% Sussumaniello Pietra, soft, warm and enveloping.
Why the name Pietra (stone)? Inspired by the name is the stony limestone rock on which the Sussumaniello vineyards are born. The capsule that wraps the bottles draws its complete inspiration.
